Fantastic rpg in the same vein as Witcher 3. Do not expect an open world similar to rockstar games, the cd project red devs do open world closer to the far cry series of games, with activities being focused around killing baddies and treasure hunting rather then narratively strong minigames. In execution it plays like a mix of the Deus Ex games, Mirrors Edge and the Witcher 3. The inventory management and perk system, the hacking and exploration / world building is close in feel to the Deus Ex games, the movement and combat borrows aesthetically from Mirrors Edge (and Dying Light) in very good ways - combining into a very compelling gameplay. Top notch story telling and world building with amazing atmosphere and fun gameplay makes it a 5 out of 5 game.
I skipped the whole hullabaloo when this was first released and gave it a hard pass, a year later I got it second hand on ps4 and saw the potential. After seeing that it hadn't been abandoned and making a x360ce profile for my hotas I'm full bore into it. It's reminiscent of Starbound, Subnautica and Freelancer in good ways.
